University Project - Book Jacket Design 

Albert Camus

This was my work for a 2nd year University project where in which we were delegated the task of illustrating a series of book covers from a selected list of authors. I chose to study a collection of stories from Albert Camus, as I felt like this was a task that would challenge my abilities at the time. The stories were all philosophical novels, with material that frequently provided commentary on existentialism, absurdism and other discourse on the human condition. I was conscious that this needed to be reflected within the artwork and subsequently created these dark and somewhat minimal designs.
